The Stain and Finishing Oil (SFO) is a great top coat for high traffic areas such as kitchen cabinets and table tops. At The Nest, we use SFO on the top of our counters. It protects against spills and scratches. If you notice that there is a small scratch where you have used the SFO, just go over it with a quick swipe and it is gone! This product can go over bare wood to create beautiful surfaces, or over painted surfaces for an extra oomph or layer of protection. The SFO can be used both indoors and outdoors. This container of SFO covers 40-75 square feet. The type of finish depends on how many coats you use. For one or two coats, it is matte. For additional coats, you'll notice more of a sheen coming through.

How to use:

First, make sure that your surfaces are clean. Either use soap and water or Fusion TSP Alternative. Let that dry fully. We suggest using a microfiber cloth or Fusion applicator pad to apply the Stain and Finishing Oil. Apply product with a microfiber towel or applicator pad, then wipe away to avoid excess stain. Complete this step until you've reached your desired look for the first coat. Wait to apply another coat (if needed) in about 9 hours.
